Use my range of qualifications to cast new light on your situation.
Step into a realm of unwavering support, where your well-being rightfully claims its place at the forefront. My professional path, commencing in 2001, has been a mosaic of experiences devoted to guiding individuals and families through life's intricate challenges. From offering personal care for someone with Spinal Cord Tetraplegia in the United Kingdom to roles as a Child Safety Officer, Individual & Family Therapist, lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast, and an external supervisor for health professionals across Australia, my career spans a breadth of expertise.
I am well-versed in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic stress release approaches, Gottman, and emotion-focused therapies. Rooted in the amalgamation of Eastern and Western theories on attachment, trauma, and mindfulness, my approach is grounded in a holistic perspective.
Whether grappling with trauma, disability, addiction, or mental health concerns, my commitment is to provide personalized support. Acknowledged by the Australian Association of Social Workers, my formal qualifications underscore a personal understanding of navigating childhood trauma, burnout, and the path to recovery.
Within this realm of counseling services, let's embark on a venture toward healing, resilience, and rediscovering joy. Your well-being isn't just a destination; it's a unique path we will navigate together with professionalism and grace.

Care Plans
I accept DVA & Mental Health Care plans if you are wanting to access financial support, however you do not need a plan to see me.
How it works
Medicare rebates are available for patients who are referred to a mental health professional by their GP under a Mental Health Care Plan in Australia. The following information is important to know about Medicare rebates for mental health care plans
Eligibility
A Mental Health Care Plan must be in place, which is a plan developed by a GP outlining their mental health treatment needs.
Rebate amount
The current Medicare rebate for social work mental health services is $79.05 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. This amount is subject to change and should be confirmed with Medicare.
Provider eligibility
The psychologist or mental health professional providing the treatment must be registered with Medicare and have a provider number.
My Provider number is: 5344374K
Payment process
Typically the full fee will be paid at the time of the session and then claim the Medicare rebate back by submitting a claim online on your behalf. Or you can request the paid invoice and go through the Medicare app, or in person at a Medicare service centre. The rebate will be paid directly into your bank account that is stored on file with medicare.
Limitations
There may be limitations on the types of services that are eligible for Medicare rebates, and some services may require prior approval from Medicare.
It is important for patients and their GPs to be aware of the Medicare rebate system when referring for mental health services. This can help ensure that patients are able to access the treatment they need and can afford, and that mental health professionals are appropriately reimbursed for their services.
